Neelam Chhikara

Neelam Chhikara is the Founder and Managing Attorney of Chhikara Law, P.C.

Neelam began her academic career at Stony Brook University with a degree in Biology, specializing in Neuroscience, before earning her J.D. at Hofstra Law School, where she graduated Cum Laude, earned the Health Law Certificate for Excellence, and was named an Advanced Health Law Fellow, credentials that later informed her work in the pharmaceutical industry. She is also a USPTO patent bar–registered attorney.

Before founding Chhikara Law, Neelam spent over 6 years as a prosecutor, litigating trials and leading long-term investigations, work that taught her to build a case around what will be challenged, not just what looks strong on paper.

Outside the courtroom, her experience spans the pharmaceutical industry and a family-owned hospitality business, giving her a working understanding of the operational and regulatory realities her business clients face, not just the legal theory behind them.
