Neelam Chhikara

Neelam Chhikara is the Founder and Managing Attorney of Chhikara Law, P.C., a New York–based law firm dedicated to guiding businesses, professionals, and families through the complexities of immigration and business law.

She began her academic journey at Stony Brook University, where she earned a degree in Biology with a specialization in Neuroscience. She went on to pursue her legal education at Hofstra Law School, graduating Cum Laude and receiving the Health Law Certificate for Excellence as well as recognition as an Advanced Health Law Fellow.

Following law school, Neelam served as a prosecutor for over six years, where she litigated numerous trials and led long-term investigations. This experience honed her ability to analyze complex issues, advocate strategically, and pursue justice with precision.

Beyond her public service, Neelam has also gained professional experience across diverse industries, including the pharmaceutical sector and the hospitality industry. This multidisciplinary background gives her a unique perspective on the intersection of law, business, and immigration—particularly in helping entrepreneurs, investors, and professionals navigate the legal pathways to success in the United States.

As the head of Chhikara Law, Neelam combines her litigation skills, industry knowledge, and passion for advocacy to provide personalized, strategic, and results-driven representation.
